✅ DO: Make it look like the person posting is posting it themselves. Human. Use humor. They’re curious or intrigued about it. It should NOT be easy to tell they are posting to promote or sell - people need to wonder what is she/he doing??
✅ Creates/piques curiosity because they don’t have all of the info. If you saw it, you’d want to comment “What is it?”
✅ If it’s a customer, they can share a personal before and after/their positive experience so far! Ask them “What are you loving most? What positive things are you experiencing so far?” Then, use their words to create a personal post! “Well, I was really skeptical about this anti-aging strategy😅🙄, but *INSERT SNIPPET OF THEIR TESTIMONY* and end with something about how they are now a fan/officially obsessed/etc. 👉🏻Example - Well, I was really skeptical about ___________...😅🙄 But I’ve really noticed (results), so that’s a win! I am officially a fan💁🏻♀️
❌ Use a pic with words/graphics on it
❌ Use a CTA (call to action) like “comment ___”, “reach out to ___”, “get with my friend ___”, etc.
❌ List a ton of benefits and ingredients (looks salesy)
❌ Approve all posts onto your timeline
❌ Expect every post to blow up and think you’re failing if you don’t get immediate sales. The purpose of referral posts is to get people into your funnel or into your FB group with info about the product/biz. THEN, you have a big list of new people to follow up with when there are new products/sales/promos/giveaways, etc.! Also, that person’s FB may not get good engagement, and you can’t control that!
❌ Continue doing posts that haven’t worked over and over. Tweak if something doesn’t work.
❌ Do the exact same wording/pics every time. Use different pics and change wording a bit from person to person.
❌ Don't EVER do SHARED posts that kills your momentum/algorithm. Make it your own post if you like it and edit but never use the SHARE BUTTON on facebook.
